MosaicDaily Nonogram: Shade the Grid, Reveal the Picture

Mosaic is a daily picture-logic puzzle, also known as a nonogram or Picross. Numbers beside each row and above each column give the lengths of the shaded blocks in order; you work out which cells to fill by logic alone, and the finished grid shows a pixel-art picture. Grids grow from 5x5 to 15x15 over the week. It's free, with one puzzle a day, harder later in the week, but you need to sign in with an Inkwell Games account to play. There is no unlimited mode: once today's puzzle is done, the next one comes tomorrow.

How to play Mosaic

  1. Read the clues: each number is the length of a run of shaded cells.
  2. Tap a cell to shade it; tap again to mark it as empty.
  3. Use the clues on rows and columns together to place every block.
  4. Finish the grid to reveal the picture.

Tips

  • Start with the biggest clues: a long block in a short line always covers the middle cells.
  • Mark cells you know are empty; they split lines into smaller problems.
  • Never guess: every cell can be worked out from the clues.
