Minesweet adds a Daily Duel to Minesweeper: everyone gets the same Intermediate board, designed to be solvable without guessing. Its separate friend challenges send the same mine layout to another player, who tries to beat your time and can send a revenge board back. It's free to play in your browser, with one shared Intermediate board a day and no account needed. There is also an unlimited mode, so you can keep playing after the daily puzzle.
How to play Minesweet
- Choose Daily Duel for the shared board, or a Classic difficulty for extra practice.
- Click or tap to uncover a square; its number counts mines in the eight neighboring squares.
- Right-click or long-press to flag a mine. Once all mines around a number are flagged, click that number to open the rest.
- Clear all safe squares as quickly as possible. Daily boards change at midnight UTC.
- Use Trap Your Friend for a same-board challenge; sign-in is needed for official rankings, not for playing.
Tips
- When a number already touches enough confirmed mines, its other hidden neighbors are safe.
- Compare overlapping groups around neighboring numbers before placing a flag.
