Murdle sets out a small murder case each day with a handful of suspects, weapons and locations, plus a list of clues and evidence. You cross off possibilities on a logic grid until only one combination fits, then accuse the culprit with the right weapon and scene. It's free to play in your browser, with one mystery a day and no account needed. There is no unlimited mode: once today's puzzle is done, the next one comes tomorrow.
How to play Murdle
- Read the suspect, weapon and location cards; they list traits such as height or material that the clues refer to.
- Go through the clues and mark each pairing on the grid as possible or ruled out.
- Each suspect has exactly one weapon and one location, so a confirmed match rules out the rest of that row and column.
- When the grid is solved, make your accusation: who did it, with what, and where.
Tips
- Start with direct clues that name a person and a place or object, then use them to unlock the indirect ones.
- Some clues are coded messages or rely on card details, so read the cards before you start.
- New players can try the mini tutorial puzzle first to learn the grid.
