Perceptle is a two-minute daily run of five quick perception tests: Count, Track, Angle, Tempo and Split. Each test is scored out of 100 for how close your judgment lands, and the five average into one daily score and grade. It's free to play in your browser, with five tests a day and no account needed. There is an unlimited mode and an archive of past puzzles, so you can keep playing after the daily one.
How to play Perceptle
- Count: dots flash for a couple of seconds; say how many there were.
- Track: follow a moving target and predict where it ends up.
- Angle and Split: estimate an angle or where a line divides in a given proportion.
- Tempo: tap along to hold a rhythm as steadily as you can.
- Each test scores out of 100, and the average is your grade for the day.
Tips
- For Count, take in clusters rather than single dots, then add the clusters up.
- Fridays add twists such as moving dots, so expect a harder run at the end of the week.
- Use Keep playing for extra unrecorded rounds to warm up a test you find hard.
