DSMdle gives everyone the same fictional patient each day. You read the first clue and type the DSM-5 diagnosis you think fits; every wrong guess reveals a more specific clue, and you have six in all. The cases are written for practice, not as clinical advice. It's free to play in your browser, with one case a day, plus two side puzzles and no account needed. There is no unlimited mode: once today's puzzle is done, the next one comes tomorrow.
How to play DSMdle
- Read the first clue about the patient.
- Type a DSM-5 diagnosis; the box suggests names as you type.
- A wrong guess opens a more specific clue, up to six.
- After the case, read the clinical overview and share your score.
Tips
- Watch the time frame in the clues: many diagnoses hinge on how long symptoms last.
- Start broad (mood, anxiety, psychotic) and narrow down as clues arrive.
- Try the daily Criterions board to practise sorting criteria into diagnoses.
We never post the answer to today's puzzle.
