Fuddle gives everyone the same set of letter tiles each day. You build words of three letters or more and place them on an open grid as one connected crossword, and you win when every tile is used; longer words, theme words and speed all add points. It's free to play in your browser, with one puzzle a day and no account needed. There is also an unlimited mode, so you can keep playing after the daily puzzle.
How to play Fuddle
- Tap tiles to spell a word of three letters or more.
- Place it on the grid; every line of touching tiles must be a real word.
- Keep going until you have used every tile.
- See your stars, time and score, then share.
Tips
- Spend awkward letters like J, Q or Z early, while the grid still has room.
- Long words score more, but short ones are handy for linking.
- Open the hint when stuck: it shows the puzzle's theme.
