Framed shows you one frame from a mystery movie and gives you six guesses to name it. Every miss reveals another still from the same film, and extra daily modes test you on a single frame, a title card or a poster. It's free to play in your browser, with one movie a day, plus bonus modes and no account needed. There is no unlimited mode, but past puzzles can be replayed from the archive.
How to play Framed
- Look at the first still and type the movie you think it comes from.
- Pick the title from the suggestions and submit, or skip.
- Each wrong guess or skip unlocks the next frame; you get six in total.
- Try the One Frame, Titleshot and Poster challenges for more puzzles the same day.
Tips
- Read the image like a cinematographer: color grading, aspect ratio and film grain hint at the decade.
- Costumes, cars and phones on screen are quick clues to when the film is set.
- Movies can come back with new frames, so don't rule out a title just because it has been an answer before.
We never post the answer to today's puzzle.
