Countryle hides one country a day, and every guess is compared with it on hemisphere, continent, average temperature, population and coordinates. Colors and arrows show which facts match and whether the answer is higher or lower, so each guess narrows the field. It's free to play in your browser, with one country a day and no account needed. There is no unlimited mode: once today's puzzle is done, the next one comes tomorrow.
How to play Countryle
- Type a country at the bottom of the page and pick it from the list.
- Read the clue boxes: hemisphere, continent, average temperature, population and coordinates.
- Green means a match, other colors mean close or wrong, and arrows tell you to go higher or lower.
- Keep guessing until you find the hidden country, then share your result.
Tips
- Start with a mid-sized country so the population and temperature arrows are useful in both directions.
- Lock down the hemisphere and continent first, then use the numbers to choose between neighbors.
- Coordinates arrows work like a compass, so use them to rule out whole regions.
- Hot average temperatures point toward the tropics; very cold ones narrow it to a few countries.
